The One Where I've Been Featured!

I know most of you already saw my previous posts about Paige's nursery, but I've been featured! Check it out here! I love Sweet Charli's blog. She's got such cute ideas on it.

The One With The Family Trip

What a week! My family has had a family vacation planned since Christmas (we have to plan it super in advance because there are so many of us!), so I was really looking forward to it.

I had a lot of things to do to get ready on Wednesday, because we were supposed to leave on Thursday. I had a hair appointment at 4, then I would go shopping, then I would finish packing, then I would be ready to leave the next morning. Around noon on Wednesday I noticed that my tummy didn't feel 100%, but I just figured I chugged down my slim fast too quickly (I'm not on a diet... I just like that they are easy to eat when you have so much to do). At my hair appointment, my tummy just kept getting worse. Well, by the time I got home from my appointment, I started puking like there was no tomorrow. It was awful. I ended up being so dehydrated I had to go get 2 liters of fluid, and the doc said that wasn't even going to be enough.

Needless to say, I didn't get to go on Thursday morning. It ended up that I wasn't the only one to get sick. Poor Paige & Rick did too. It's still lingering for us, but we're tons tons better.

So, Friday night, we decided we felt good enough to go Saturday morning and surprise my family for the last day.

We were able to go horseback riding with all of the kids, and we all loved it. Well, except for Paige. I learned the hard way, not to put the back pack carrier on before you get on the horse. I think I must have smacked her head on the saddle when I got on, and since she was tired too, she cried & screamed (which isn't like her) the whole ride. Poor girl.

It was tons of fun to be with everyone, even if it wasn't for the whole trip.

The One With All That Skwakin!

Rick taught Paige to "talk" on demand (when we want her to), but she learned how to make this new noise, so now she "skwaks" on demand. She's cute.
