The One With The Fun Sleepover!

Well, I decided I wanted to have a sleepover for all of my nieces & nephews that could come. We had 8 of them show up, and if you ask me, we had a blast. Those kids are so dang cute.

We spent a lot of time on the swings in the back yard. They would swing so high they would pick the apples off of the tree.

They some how found a bunch of snails. They would pile them all up. It started raining that night, so we went out after the rain stopped and they honestly found more than 50 snails... so much for a garden, huh?? It was gross, but they LOVED it!

My favorite part of the sleep over was Saturday morning. I bought them a slip'n'slide.

This wasn't all of the kids (below) but it was the kids that couldn't fit on the big swings. One of my nieces took this picture for me.

I love those stinking kids!!!

The One With The Bear Lake Weekend

Not last weekend but the one before, Rick and I decided to go to Bear Lake, just the two of us. It was one of the weekends right in the middle of all of the rain, so we thought it would rain a whole lot, but we decided it would be worth it. It ended up only raining once for a little while! It was cold, but so nice to get away! I drove the golf cart (something I have never done before) and I had a blast. I couldn't stop laughing. That was my favorite part of the trip! :) Look at the horns on the golf cart!

Us, overlooking the lake. So pretty.

There's a heart below!

The One Where I Am Stressed Beyond Belief!

Well, this week has been so so so crazy. I have a test for work that I need to take on Friday, so every single spare moment (besides this one, of course:) ) has beed used up with me studying. This, btw, is a BIG test, that most people don't pass their first time. After this, I really hesitate to say that I will go back to school. I still might, but not in the near future. Although, I believe this is worse than any school I have taken.

With that being said... we also got asked to talk in church on Sunday. How come those talks never come at good times?!?! We still haven't been told our topic, which may be a good thing for me, so I can focus on studying for now. I know that most people don't plan their talks until Saturday or Sunday morning, but I am a "planner a head-er" if you want to call it that. That's just my personality with everything. I like to plan ahead and know what I am doing.
So... things have been oober crazy lately, and poor Rick has been so sweet and has lived this week without a wife to help around the house and all that jazz. We were able to go up to Bear Lake, just the two of us, last weekend. It was so nice! It only rained for a few minutes the whole weekend. Pictures to come... later.
Sorry if I am being too mooshy & religious on you, but I have to say, I am so greatful for 2 things this week. First, for Rick and how great he is to me. He's been such a great cheer leader and support for me this week. And second, for the comfort of the spirit. I reached my breaking point yesterday with all of the stress. All I could do was just get on my knees. Once I did that, all of my stress & knots in my stomache, just melted off. It was such a great feeling to have that off my shoulders.
I will be looking forward to next week!!

The One With All The LOVE . . .

Well, I've been pretty busy lately taking pictures! I love it! My cousin asked me to take pictures of her wedding. It was such a beautiful setting! The first picture was taken actually as I was leaving for the night. The light was just perfect and I had to get a shot.

I also took some engagement pictures recently. We went to the Garden Ward in Sugar House. I loved the Ivy on the last picture!
