The One With Quirky Monday - 'Quirks I Love'

Paige has been so much fun.  Part of the reason why I think she can be fun & cute is because of the funny things she does.  She's got some pretty unique quirks that make me love her even more.  Don't believe me... ask the dishes!  

• I showed Paige how to put her hands in her pockets a month or so ago.  Now she always is walking with her hands in her pockets.  It melts my heart... I love it!

• Paige is & has always crossed her legs when sitting.  I thought it would go away when she was a baby, but boy, am I glad it hasn't.  I don't know why (I must be a mom), but it makes me smile every time.

  

•   Whenever Paige sees a hat, she has to wear it.

• Every night Paige has to tuck in her dolls & stuffed animals and give them all kisses.  She often sneaks more in, so sometimes the number of goodnight kisses is on the high side.  

• Paige loves to be tucked in, and I mean really tucked in, at night... arms and all  (she looks miserable in the picture, but I promise, she was just tired) :)

Oh, this girl is too cute.  I sure adore her.  I hope our new baby has some fun quirks too!

The One Where We Found Out...

Last week we got our ultrasound!  It seemed like for so long, it was 3 weeks away, and then all of a sudden it was here.

After being so tired, sick & busy from work, it hasn't seemed as real, or even honestly, as exciting as I wanted it (being pregnant/having another baby) to be... but the second I laid eyes on that black & white baby on the screen, I was so in love.  I was so excited.  It made me so happy.  It made all of the throwing up, and tiredness, mood swings & etc. more than worth it.

So, without further adieu...

I was surprised to find out that we're having another little girl!  I'm so excited for Paige & this new baby to be sisters.  I hope they are really good friends.

I'm growing, but I feel WAY bigger than I look :)

The One With My Big Surprise

I've wondered for most of Paige's life what, if anything, she got from me.  After all, she looks just like Rick & has a lot of his personality traits.  But yesterday, we had some family over for a water day and Paige loved wearing this floatie device, so naturally I took a picture.  

Then it hit me...

The One With The June Friday Photo Dump

June was a pretty big month for us!  The biggest part of June was moving into our house...

and growing a garden...

and Paige got a big girl bed (that she LOVES!)
(do you like her sleeping/cheese face?  Now that's talent!)

But we also had fun with lots of family & friends like going to the zoo...

& going to Top It (a lot!)...

& going swimming...

and going to Tracy Aviary...

and just hanging out...

We had lots of fun.  :)
