2008 Tag:

1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?

I went to Hawaii and went on a cruise to Mexico. Not too shabby for the year.


2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I am pretty sure that I made a new years resolution not to make one, if that makes any sense. As for this year, I have been fighting a challenge from our stake presedency (ps, my dad is in the stake presidency) for over 6 months now, so I think I will try it out for the year (even though the challenge is for the rest of your life). The challenge is to read your scriptures every day for the rest of your life. I will do my best. :)

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Probably the closest person was my friend Magyn!


4. Did anyone close to you die?
Not really, thankfully!

5. What countries did you visit?
Mexico


6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
A wedding! :)

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory and why?
August 9, 2008. Ricky proposed to me in Hawaii!!


8. What was your biggest personal achievement of the year?
I guess I finally got my associates degree. I'm not telling how long that took though...

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not being very wise with my money.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothin out of the ordinary. Just a sinus infection, I think.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
I bought a LOT of things! :) OH!!! My wedding dress... definately that.

12. Who did you have the most fun with?
Ricky, silly.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Do I have to answer that question?

14. Where did most of your money go?
Hehe, good question! Towards clothes and stuff probably.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My engagement, silly.

16. What song will always remind you of 2008?
Uh..... Who knows.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: a)happier or sadder? b) thinner or fatter? c) richer or poorer?
a- happier... b-who knows, and honestly I don't care to check ;) c-not sure! probably slightly poorer.

18. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Spending money. I'd be so rich if I was smart about that.

19. Did you fall in love in 2008?
I fell more in love than I was before with Rick.

20. What was your favorite TV program?
The Office

21. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Hate is a strong word, but I really really really don't like _____.... good song. Oh, I went to their concert last year!

22. What was the best book you read?
The Proper Care & Feeding Of Husbands, by Dr Laura :D

23. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I'm not a music explorer.

24. What did you want and not get?
I got too much of everything.

25. What was your favorite film of this year?
I forget. A year is a long time for such a short memory.

26. What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?
I turned 22 on June 22. Rick took me to Bear Lake, it was very fun and perfect. We almost didn't go and I was gonna be so sad.

27. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Winning a million dollars... or being able to get married sooner.

28. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
I am sort of a classic kind of gal. I love jeans when I can, but for work I usually need to dress it up a bit.

29. What kept you sane?
Being able to just talk with Rick. He's a good friend.

30. When you think about 2008 what sticks out in your mind?
I went on some pretty good vacations (of course Hawaii!, Mexico on a cruise and Bear Lake at least twice) and Girls Nights.


31. Best moment of 2008? Engagement!
