The One With Some Random Updates

I have to admit, I've really enjoyed this week... including being lazy and not having to go to work. I have had some interviews, so we'll see what happens. I really am working hard to find something, don't get me wrong. I just have enjoyed being able to make Rick lunches, clean the house, make him dinners, watch my favorite shows, and spend more time with family.

We went to the fair on Monday. It poured rain! But, it was good to see some of the family. Of course, I left my camera in the car, and my umbrella was broken. :) Part of the reason why we went on Monday was because the Fair always has an all you can eat ice cream tent. My family is big on ice cream (although, so is Rick's family...). The kids LOVED it, even though we were freezing from the rain. They were hyper, and got more and more hyper with each bite they took. I tried to secretly catch a video on my phone of them, but they instantly noticed I was filming them. I'm not sure how to post videos, but maybe I'll try to add it on later. I love those kids. I love that I turn into one of them when I am the only adult sitting at the kids table. When I got home, I instantly took off my soaked socks, got in some WARM pj's and slippers, then made me some delicious hot chocolate!

My mom and I made 30 jars of jam on Tuesday night. I love that I see my mom at least one night a week now (that is because Rick has been working 12-13 hour days for the past month... I don't know how he does it!).

On Tuesday, I also had a doctor appointment. The heartbeat was 166, and I scheduled my ultrasound for October 13. I might reschedule it to be the week before (the Dr said I could), depending on the schedule I get when I get a job. Vote (to your right) on if you think I am having a boy or a girl!! They have changed my due date quite a bit. As for now, we are planning on March 2, so I am 16 weeks... again this week. :) The first due date my Dr gave me was January 31. I knew at the time that that date was wishful thinking, so it's not a huge surprise.

I have been meaning to post pictures I have taken for about a month now, but Rick usually takes my lap top with him to work so he can do his masters classes online in between jobs, and all of my pictures are on there. One day I will catch up with them. :)

Tonight is The Office's Season Premiere!! I am stoked. I plan to make zucchini bread today as well. Although, I forgot to get my mom's recipe from her on Tuesday... Oh well, I will figure it out! Maybe, if I get time, I'll run by Rick's dad's house and drop some off (depending on how much I get out of it, too...), it's been weeks since we have seen them.

Well, that's kind of my life in a nutshell right now. I am a very lucky lady to have Rick and that he works so hard for our family.
