We've stayed busy the past week, so I thought I would do a post about every thing, instead of spreading it out through the week. First of all, Rick and I went to a flag football game of ex-football players for U of U and BYU. It was cold, and I burnt my tongue for the first of three times that weekend, but it was really fun. BYU won that one, but we all know who won the real game . . .
Then, on Friday, we baby sat for my brother and his wife. Those kids are so stinkin cute!
Case & Cole played their video games the whole time, and they were SO excited when Rick came so they could play video games with him and tackle him.
On Saturday I took pics of my friend's 3 month old. He's so cute and studly! He's also all boy!

The One About My Parent's Ice Cream
You know how around this time of year, Dryers does the BYU and U of U ice creams? Well...
A week or so ago, Rick was over and my parents offered us ice cream. Not all that unusual. But, Rick said no (he's not the biggest ice cream fan), then we realized it was Dryer's BYU ice cream and we had to joke about it...
Yesterday I was looking in the fridge and freezer trying to find some things for dinner, and I saw something! . . .
It's a bit blurry, but how funny! I immediately sent this picture to Rick saying that my parents obviously learned their lesson, then I asked my mom about it. She said that despite it's high price, my dad said we needed to get it for Rick. Oh, my parents are the best. I love that they love Rick too!!

The One With The Question
I need your help!
Hi friends! Even though we don't have a date (we are still waiting on paperwork and on letters from the former spouses), I am still a girl, and still trying to get new ideas for the wedding. We will most likely just have a brunch (no reception) or something along those lines after the ceremony, but I am curious. I want to know what the most creative thing you have seen done at a wedding or reception. Or even something you did at your wedding and were happy you did. I am thinking I might fold some cootie catchers (remember those!?!) and put them in a glass jar for people to take.

That may be the extent of my "reception-ness" but we will see! I am mostly stuck on a guest book. I bought the cutest card that ideally, I would like to put on the cover of a creative album for people to sign, but I am having a really hard time finding an album that would fit it. Any ideas?
I also saw the cutest idea for a wedding album, you get some old vintage post cards and have people write notes on the back for you.

The One WIth The Dress
Okay! Here is is! I got to pick up my wedding dress! I love it. I already had my big poofy princess dress, so this one is sassy, and modest and relatively simple. It has some bead work, but the pictures don't show it. I still need slight alterations, but it fits really well! I will wear red shoes under it... go Utes ;) And I think I will have my hair down but curly (if my hair will cooperate... for those of you who don't know my hair, it has only curled once in my life for my friends wedding. As a kid, my mom would give me perms, but they just wouldn't work)
We still don't have a date and we are waiting on the letters from our former spouses and paperwork, but you know I will keep you posted!

The One With The Fun Girls
The other night, I helped babysit my two nieces. We ended up having a whole lot of fun. At dinner, the 3 year old started gargling her milk out of no where. It cracked me up. I gave one of them my point and shoot camera to play with, and she loved taking pictures... she even took one of my bottom when I was bending over writing a message. Needless to say, I won't post that one. :) But as usual, here are some pictures to prove the fun time we had.
Attempt number one of her taking a picture of me :)
Attempt number two worked out well.
PS- I got my wedding dress!! :) I love it. Pics to come!

The One Where My Dreams Came True
My dreams came true last night... well, one of them! A select few people were allowed into an autograph signing with Kyle Korver last night after the game. And when I say a select few, I mean 3 whole sections full of people ended up coming! We waited for about an hour till they called us up. Ah, I was thrilled and on cloud 9 :)
Rick and I are waiting patiently. 3 whole sections of people, and we had to sit next to the loudest and most anoying one of the group, and the stinkiest one of the group sat right in front of us :)
During the game, I got really hungry and got some nachos... if you don't believe me look at the spot on my shirt I was going to have him sign.
Ah! I finally got to meet him. He looked me in the eyes even!
I have to have some sort of dorky picture of myself! It's policy.
Oh, and in case you are wondering... yes, I know it seems impossible, but yes, he is more gorgeous in real life than on tv.
