Not too much is new.
Our super duper busy month ends today... I am pretty sure it was the busiest month of my life. Between 3 family weddings, showers, girl's nights, doctor appointments, baby siting/sleep overs, my birthday, a concert, and lots of family get togethers, we found a little bit of time to spend just the three of us.
And on top of all of that...
Paige is teething.
:(
The poor girl. She's still been really good, considering, but some days, like today, she just doesn't like to sleep, and as you moms know... no sleep=sad babies.
I'll try to post pictures later of the past month... but no guarantees. :)

The One With All That Sleepin'
Paige has slept through the night 4 nights in a row now!!! I am sure I am jinxing myself by blogging about it, but I just had to shout it from the roof tops! I keep thinking that for sure this is the night she will start waking up again (she's slept through the night a few times on and off but she has never been this consistent), but she just keeps surprising me! I love her.
We had another family wedding yesterday & Jaleen (Rick's mom) looked so gorgeous and happy. It was a really nice wedding! Rick and some friends got together and formed a band and they sounded great. For the most part, Paige did good... besides the first round of pictures... but I think I was just as emotional as she was. I got an IUD and should have known to get the non-hormonal kind. It really messes with my mind. I love it other than that. We'll see if I can try to control it better in the future.
I forgot to get some pictures of just our family on my camera, or else I would have posted them. My friend Carlye did the wedding pictures. She did great! :) Thanks, Car!
Two family weddings down, one more to go!!!
PS- I just realized last night that all three weddings were exactly 2 weeks and 2 days apart from each other! Weird!

The One With All That Swingin'
Who says she's too young to swing!? :)
The weather was so nice today that we decided to walk to the swings at our apartment. Rick put her in, and she seemed to like it. It made her sleepy.......
Where did she go!?
Earlier today I took a couple of pictures of her. She's 3 1/2 months old now. Just in the past few weeks, she's started fussing less and even spitting up less. She's also started to smile more, and is learning how to play and use her hands more. All of that combined makes us extra happy parents!
They love each other...

The One With The Photo Craft
I hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend. We were invited to go to a few different cabins with family, but decided to stay at home and take it easy since we had such a crazy week. We're still recovering :)
I mentioned in my last post that we had 2 bridal showers for 2 of my soon-to-be sisters-in-law. I was in charge of decorating for one of them, since I had taken their engagement pics, so I made these fun photo blocks. I made one for the other shower too for a gift, but I forgot to take pictures of that one. They are similar to Paige's blocks I made when I was pregnant.
All I did was sand the square blocks down, then stained them, then modge podged the pictures on. They're so easy, affordable, and it was fun because they doubled as a gift that she could take home.
After the shower, my brother called me to thank me for them (I was worried they'd be dorky, but even guys seemed to think they were cool) and asked if they could use them as decorations at their wedding. Awh shucks!
Maybe after I have more kids I'll make a block for each kid to put out in our family room. They're kid friendly, I'm not sure kids could ruin them... unless they drew all over them...
