The One Without the Letter

I didn't get my letter today. They meet on Thursdays to do sealing cancellations, so the first half of the week is when I will receive my letter.
I'm not gonna lie, this has been a hard trial for me. I've been engaged for 6 months, not knowing when I am going to get married. We originally just wanted to be engaged for 2 months max.
I am very grateful, though that this is possible. It's just sometimes hard to do the right thing. Looking back, if I knew it was going to be this long, we definitely would have just got married, then sealed in the temple in a year (since we would be 6 months ahead, and there is no guarantee that they will say yes). But, knowing what I know now, I am glad we are waiting. Just as long as they say yes (I am extremely nervous that they will say no, sometimes I get physically sick just thinking about it) and soon. :) I am trying to be positive, though. We are learning a lot about each other, and we are able to earn more money this way, and lots of other good things.
But. like I have said before, it is in the Lord's hands, and really, who's hands would be better than that? Pray for me that I will have patience!

I'm praying for you, have patience. Everything is going to work out. I just know it! Hang in there, and just get a rough draft of what you want and what you can plan at this point that way you can get married fast!

Can anyone RSVP to your luncheon or are you sending invites?

We've changed our minds a lot, so I'm not sure :) It all depends on how long we have to wait. We may just get married a week after we get the okay, but we may still do Vegas (if we do Vegas, we'll just have a lunch there and nothing here) a month after we get the okay. Who knows :)

It'll all work out. I'm sure it is hard to keep waiting without knowing but it'll all come together in the end.

Love ya!

I can't even imagine how stressful and hard this time has been for you! You really are doing so well at trying to keep things in perspective. Much better than I ever could...
