ODE TO THE BIKE...
Okay, so I am not writing a true ode "poem", but I do miss Rick's old bike. I know that they are dangerous, but they are so fun. I would always say a little prayer before getting on it, so I knew we'd be safe. :)
A little history about this bike . . .
On my second date with Rick, we watched a scary movie (I NEVER watch scary movies) & he took me home on his bike. Needless to say, my adrenaline was pumping a little bit that night. He turned down one of the streets to go to my house, but I told him to keep going. I was having too much fun. It was a fun cheap date from then on out. He took me for rides to see the city lights, we drove past the Oquirrh Mountain LDS Temple on Bangerter while it was still under construction, and it was just fun to drive around the neighborhood with him. It was perfect for
this time of year.
Rick ended up selling it at the end of the 'bike' season last year. He thought it would be better to have the money for a down payment on a house, than to just have the bike. What a good kid.
Although we miss the bike tons, especially when another bike (not as cool, of course) zips past us as we are driving somewhere, Rick always says that when we get rich, we'll buy another one. :)

What a great guy to give up his toy for the family.
